Time Management

THE BEST TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM I KNOW AND USE

Before the start of every day rule a line down the centre of your diary page (Best diary choice is large one day per page similar to "Collins"- Vanessa series)

Or for those who have their diary on computer do the same.

1. Head up left hand column "Appointments" with each hour of the day marked where you record your appointments for the day.

2. Head up right hand column "To Do List" and at various spaces down the page have three subheadings:-

1.CRITICAL

2.URGENT

3.IMPORTANT

3. Under each subheading- list and number in order of importance the tasks to be completed and cross them off as they are done.

4. Carry over to tomorrow's diary and reclassify any unfinished tasks from today.

This method of time management makes you highly efficient, puts you in control of your day and manages your time in the ultimate way.

What are the definitions of "Critical", "Urgent" and "Important"?

CRITICAL- The task must be done right now. It ranks above everything else you have to do today.

URGENT- Jobs that need to be done today as soon as time permits.

IMPORTANT- Keep these jobs in mind to do, but they don't necessarily have to be done today.
