All listing leads generated should be sorted into the following categories:-

GOLD - Owners who are selling right now. Today!
Stay in contact hour by hour until listed.

GREEN - Owners who are selling in the next month.
Contact every one to two days until listed.

AMBER - Owners who may sell in the next twelve months, but
Contingent on certain events happening for them.
Contact once each month until listed.

RED - Owners who may sell after twelve months or never.
They have no motivation to sell at the present time.
Contact once every three months- ask for referrals.
Other people who they think maybe selling in their area as they themselves may never sell.  Use them as a source of referrals.
