Clean Desk Efficiency

We all have lots of tasks in progress at any one time and often our desks are cluttered with work in progress. This is not the most efficient way to operate.

Try this great idea to clear your desk and only focus on one job at a time.

1. Get 31 manila folders.

2. Number them 1 to 31 representing each day of the month.

3. Put all of the manila folders in your filing cabinet near you.

4. Transfer all of the jobs on your desk into one of the folders that represents the day of the month that the task needs to be completed by.

5. When you start your day pull out the file for today's date and complete these jobs today.

6. That's it. So simple. Do you think you will work more efficiently with a clean desk? If not you will look to others as an efficient person.
